Anna Yao is a successful mother of three and homemaker. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she served as bookkeeper for the Tippecanoe County Area Plan Commission for many years. She is a proud grandmother of Kristiana and the wife of Professor Jim Yao, the holder of the Lohman Professorship at Texas A&M University.

Anna's interests include cooking, needlepoint, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, writing, music and dancing. She enjoys off-broadway musicals, good movies and playing with Kristiana.
